Kym works in career development, counselling and transition with a range of clients from a variety of backgrounds. As a former dancer she has a particular passion for working with dancers and elite performers of all types.

Having completed her full-time dance training at QUT Kym worked as a dancer, teacher, choreographer and arts administrator in Australia, the UK and the US. Her involvement with career development and education began with dancers in 2000 while Administrator for Artist Development at The Place (London) where she was responsible for conducting individual career advice sessions with dancers and initiating career development workshops such as The Dancers Project (for dance graduates) and Hothouse (a mentored choreographic workshop).

Kym’s clients have included students making decisions about study options and career pathways in the performing arts, dancers and athletes facing injury or retirement, professionals across a variety of industries wanting guidance with life/work/ family balance.

Kym has also written career related articles for Dance Australia and Dance Informa.
