IMG 4662 copyLucy completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2011, after which she moved to Bright in regional Victoria where she worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist. During the winter she worked at the Mount Hotham Medical Centre managing skiing injuries. In the summer she worked with a wide range of patients with sports and work injuries and provided post operative and exercise rehabilitation for her clients.  Over the last 12 months Lucy has worked in private practice in Melbourne providing one to one and small group clinical Pilates to treat and rehabilitate back and sporting injuries, optimise performance and enhance well-being.

Lucy has a special interest in dance physiotherapy and the treatment and management of dance injuries.  As a way to combine her personal passion for dance (ballet) and her physiotherapy career, Lucy completed her APPI Pilates certification to become a Pilates Instructor.  Lucy uses Pilates to enhance a dancer's movement control and optimise dance performance.

Lucy is continuing her own dance practice, studying the Cecchetti Diploma this year under the tutelage of Anne Butler and therefore has an intimate knowledge of the demands of dance training.

When she's not in the Pilates or dance studio, Lucy enjoys baking and drinking coffee in the many cafes of Melbourne.
